Soo, i am here to present you a new web application. Our subject today is www.ogretbakalim.com. In other words "let's see you teach" :) The website is only in Turkish language as of now, but i am planning to add English support in the future too. In this post, i will basically explain what this website is doing and what is the purpose. So it is mainly for advertisement purposes. Let be begin by a TL:DR version: Öğret Bakalım is a platform that gathers the learners and teachers of any kind together. Free and ad-free :)

All the design and coding belongs to me. The purpose here is to let people present what they can teach to others for a fee and find learners of the same subjects in the world. Therefore it has 2 main sections. Teachers and learners. After signing up in the website, you can create records of these however you would like.

This way, you might be able to find a very specific skill or a detailed knowledge about a lesser known topic. Also, if you know your knowledge is worth something and there is a demand for it and you are unable to announce it to the world, you will have a free opportunity to put it in the market.

You can also register the topics you are learning or you want to learn in the website. This way, you can find peers to learn a topic together, head to head.

There are different ways of teaching and learning. For example some topics can be described verbally or some topics requires writing. Or you may have pre-existing videos or other resources. Therefore you can set different methods for teaching or learning individually. You can make detailed searches according to these methods or the subjects in the website. You can also save search ULRs and check them out anytime you want easily. The search part is very flexible in the website.

As you can see, the website is for everyone who wants to give private courses or who are looking for a specific kind of information out there in the world. It is the gathering point of the teachers and learners. But if you ask me, the most vital ability of the website is the third possibility, which is the offers.

In this screen, you can make an offer for a topic you want to know, with a topic you already know. This is basically a trade of knowledge. For example, if someone is teaching Android development and you want to learn it, and if that person wants to know about IOS development and you already know it, you can offer a trade. So you can learn a new subject without even paying for it with money. I think this is a very useful opportunity these days. The system is not automatically match people, you must search and find those topics and people. But you can offer anyone anything as long as you have a topic to teach.

Lastly, it is obvious that this website is not only constrained to software development topics. For example, there might be a mathematician who wants to learn physics and a physician who wants to learn mathematics. They can be easily matched here. That is why i said it brings learners and teachers from all kinds.

So i have created a website free and ad-free and even cookie-free with 3 main features to let people get together to teach and learn. Go ahead and try it, or i should say, feel FREE to try it :) Maybe you can discover a very unique talent. Maybe you can turn your knowledge into money.
